Catching Qat introduces two estranged twins, Qrow and Qat, who are reunited twenty years after a tragedy tore their family apart. Qrow, a man haunted by the memory of his mother’s murder, has spent decades searching for his abducted twin. He finally finds Qat in a tavern in Riversmeet, but ae is a ruthless assassin with no memory of aer past, on the run from a vengeful pirate captain.

As Qat’s escape plan unravels, the two are forced to flee Riversmeet with a motley band of companions—a mysterious elf, a silent monk, a fierce dwarven bladesmith, and a timid archer. Each member of this unlikely crew is hiding their own secrets, and as their journey unfolds, they discover they are all marked by an ancient legacy tied to a forgotten war.
